It has been very very chilly here in Calgary as of late. -25 chilly. It keeps snowing too, which is slightly unusual for such cold temperatures to allow all this snow to fall. I had to dig my car of about 8 inches of snow in the -35 windchill late last night. Brrrrrr
Now that I'm back from my days off I've finally got some flights booked. I was beginning to think they forgot I worked for the company! Tonight I'm off to Palm Springs and back. Tomorrow I'm off to the city of angels, Los Angeles! I have never been there and I'm even looking forward to the flight in, because that is some of the busiest airspace on the west coast. We get to spend 3 nights there, so hopefully we get put up in a nice hotel that's near some stuff we can check out and explore. The weather looks like it will be nice too, I'm looking forward to some 20 degree weather and sunshine after the deep freeze we've had lately here.
However, our schedule keeps changing every hour, so I'm not sure if this trip will remain in it's entirety. Yesterday I was anticipating spending 5 nights in Scottsdale AZ but that changed too. So, hopefully at least some place nice and warm for a couple of nights. We'll see, things seem to be quite busy at work!

Just to correct you Matt, yes you have been to Los Angeles before, not like you stated in your blog, you just haven't piloted an aircraft into LA.
Haha, you are correct Craig. I have been actually a few times now that I recall. Just never flown in here myself. I'm stealing a weak internet signal to write this comment.
Also, Sacha, I concur, a car is needed to go and see anything. I just spent the entire day on the bus travelling around, and well, I got to see some of the more seedy areas of LA too. We would have rented a car, but the 2 places right nearby here were all sold out of the more reasonably priced ones. Either way we got to travel around and had a good time. I currently can not feel my feet though, too much walking!
A full and proper post to come after my return to Calgary
