Nope, not the fruit.
Our entire company has now been outfitted with blackberry's. These are the handheld wireless units that are like palm pilots, but they do email/phone/internet and stuff like that all in one.
It's an interesting toy to play around with. But now that I've got the Blackberry and my cellphone my belt is full of gizmos. I've got my car alarm pager on the other hip. At one point I'm sure my pants will just fall down.
Currently I have my hotmail emails being forwarded right to my BB, so I"ll be receiving emails pretty imediatly. They are intended so that work can send us all the info on our flights and we can use them to access databases for all of the company info we have on airports and clients and also to get weather and do flight planning and all that jazz. Pretty nifty. I'm sure it'll get tiring soon enough.
So there ya have it.. 2 updates on the same day, I've been slacking lately.. could you tell???

a.k.a. Saskatoon was my latest destination this past week. Lovely Saskatoon... actually the weather was excellent, beautiful clear skies all the way there and back. All during a time when I believe it was raining in the lower mainland.. =D
We headed out there fairly early in the morning empty to pick up our clients in Saskatoon to bring them back to Calgary. Well, on the climb out our presurization system had some probs, so we had to restart it.. and unbenounced to both of us, this meant that the plane lost all pressurization and then went right back to pressurized in a matter of seconds... not very pleasant on the ears... thankfully no passengers were on board, and the system reset properly and we didn't have any further problems with it. Just part of all the fun... =D
The good part was when we brought them back they had pizza on board and the whole flight I kept on saying I was going to have to eat pizza for dinner 'cause the smell was just soooo good. As they got off the plane they said "oh, we left lots of leftover pizza if you guys want any". Yup! So for the next two days I ate pizza, and it was good stuff, big deep dish pizza, very filling.
And now I'm back in the office and will once again start my available flying days soon. Fingers crossed for Arizona or Nevada!!! =D
