So after watching the season opener for the Fox show "24" I must say... "WOW".
I have been a fan of the show in the past and tried to keep up with the storylines as much as possible. That will be no different for the now 5th season of 24. It started with a bang and keeps on going.
I've always referred to this show series as mirco movies, they've got it all in each episode. This season looks to be the best as they've really hit it off with a punch.
I prefer to download the episodes after they've aired. That way I can either watch them on my laptop in widescreen HD or on my roomates tv, which has all the inputs and a nice bose sound system that really brings out the best in the show... something that my standard cable and TV just can't quite do. Although it took me a long time to download these first few episodes that they've just aired. Sounds like Shaw is filtering out bit torrents more aggressively here in Calgary now. Grrrrrr...
So, any other 24 watchers out there?

Crazy 24 watchers. I have nothing in HK except internet. And then, when I go online, everyone in Toronto is not chatty cuz they are watching 2hrs of 24. When they're done, Vancouver ppl are not chatty cuz THEY are watching 2hrs of 24!!!
(Haha, only Matt kept me company during all of this cuz 24 was DL-ing too slowly)

24 is also pretty popular in Japan too from what I have heard from my friends.

I believe Nat is referring to Elisha Cuthbert, who was in the movie "The Girl Next Door" where she played a porn star... :)
She was in the original couple of seasons, but yeah, she was always getting into stupid trouble so she did develop a bit of an "annoying" status by 24 fans. She's still pretty hot, especially in GND.
Yes she did get annoying in 24 but the fact that she is smoking hot made me over look the stupid situations she was always getting herself into. Can't wait to see what happens the rest of this season. Matt did you catch the 24 hours of 24 on A&E last month, I'm glad I had to work otherwise I never would have left the couch, but I did get a few episodes in.
I saw the ads for the 24 hrs of 24, but stayed way clear of that! I had seen the whole season when it aired originally so I wasn't feeling too bad for missing it out.
This season has got to be the best start up for sure. The first few mins of the first episode my jaw was in a continous state of 'dropped'.
Crazy stuff, looking forward to the rest of the season... who knows, maybe EC will make an appearance!
I'm off to go and watch Girl Next Door now. :)
